Sacred and Profane

Sometime, the human create a symbol and architecture for agent of something and all was built to remember the meaning when we see them.

Temple and church are simple example that can tell the meaning of previous text. Buddhist temple and the Christian church, the both architectures have been created to mediate between people and religious leaders. Also the human was make subconscious that respect, admire and think that the architecture is sacred. And wrong, if people build for residential building may be some people think, it is disparage and profane because for people, especially Asian people think the religion is very delicate.


But, in my opinion, I think it is not wrong if we use some element of Temple or church for decorate our house, but it must be done under good intention, not need to disparage religion. And I think that use some element for decoration. It is that expression, we respect and love in the religion.

Empty form & using space

In my opinion, empty form can create using space which other space have a different function, depend on we choose to use it such as a white space in the gallery, it is open space and look like empty but in real it not empty because it have specific ability for specific function such as space for show artwork, sculpture or space for exhibition that want flexibility of space for respond many type of usability.

So I think the index which tells that empty form is not the empty space is program. Because program can tell that this space made for or changing for and what that function of it.

Today, modern and development of technology has important to change of world, make technology for support daily life for make convenience even if, the creation the dream world that like imagination of children which we have seen in the movies or comic, those we think, may be it can not happen in real life. But it is not true because nowadays the human invented it such as robots or utensil for make convenience and safety which those has standard from imagination and development of technology.

Now, Architecture give benefit from development of technology. We can see from form of building that look strange and be not geometry form. Using Free form shapes of architect can be used as an assurance that technology in the world has advanced significantly and it can respond human needs but sometime, using free form make junkspace on interior because Architect think more about form but not consider about faction that cloud bigness space more than necessary.

The imagination create technology and technology create world

All of us know that the form of buildings can make interest and attract people and promote the idea that architect want to communicate to make impression to people. But in my opinion I think form of architecture can tell the identity, imagination and ambition of architect. Because in real world, function of some architecture that was builded can’t response needs of user, but use form of building to attract people come to use building.
I believe that the truth are form of architecture that look strange, was created for communicate idea of each architect directly. And I think it represents that imagination of architect can create imagination to other people, too.

' Vision '

Nowadays, modern style is styles which give a favorite in the social and exist in everything such as furniture and sculpture, especially the architecture, I think, it gets influence from modern style and widely use. Modern style indicate to reality which exist on present but it can repersent something in the future too like Metropolis movie that about modern and can to order. This movie is silent movie, you must to see and try to understand movie from the picture and feeling of artist, I think, it like transparency that topic of lecture in this class such as you can see the internal if in contain by transprent.So, may be that it to say transprency and silent movie can show meaning by vision.While sometime the mean hardly to understand.

Real or Simulated

For the lecture in the class, it about simulated. I think , we can divide real and simulation by seeing but sometime, we can not to divide its by seeing only because some story is complex,so we should to deeply consider,if you want to divide real or simulated.

From the lecture can link with the Borat,the movie in the class.Borat is the movie about the difference of person that come from difference place so, it has different of culture, character or habit but some people think that it is a simulate for them and bring to discriminate class which i think, it is not decent if we divide value of human from these reason because it is simulate for some people but it is true as well.
